THE LAGO APPROACH

Good design begins with listening.

A clear sequence gives every idea, question and decision a place.

Illustrative residential pool architecture

01 / The first conversation.

Tell us about the site, the way you use your home and what you hope to change. Photographs, a simple plan and a few notes about your priorities are useful starting points. The studio can explain whether the project fits its services and what a first meeting would involve.

02 / A closer look at the place.

The next stage is understanding the actual site. Access, existing structures, levels, services, surrounding landscape and relevant local requirements can all affect the direction. The scope and any professional investigations are agreed for the project.

03 / A considered direction.

Explore the relationship between the pool, the architecture and the outdoor spaces. Discuss layout, material palette and how the place will be used throughout the day. Review samples and understand which details are conceptual and which have been resolved.

04 / A clearer plan.

A written scope helps everyone understand the work being discussed. Confirm responsibilities, fees, inclusions, exclusions, approvals and the proposed sequence with the professionals involved. A website enquiry is the beginning of a conversation, rather than an appointment or construction contract.

05 / The next chapter.

Construction, handover and ongoing care are arranged under the operator’s actual services and agreements. Ask who will coordinate the work, what documentation is supplied and how questions are handled after completion.

LET’S MAKE SOMETHING CONSIDERED.

Your next chapter,
just outside.

A new pool. A fresh perspective.
A place you’ll want to come home to.
