A different kind of evening.
The pool becomes a reflective center to this architectural courtyard at blue hour. Warm light from the residence and the olive tree meets the cooler water, creating a quieter way to experience the space after sunset.
Light belongs to the whole composition.
Rather than treating the water as an isolated feature, the study considers the relationship between the house, terrace and planting. The darkest areas are as important to the atmosphere as the illuminated ones.
Material that carries through.
Warm stone links the residence to the terrace and pool edge. The darker water gathers reflections of those materials, allowing the architecture to appear differently as the natural light changes.
This is a fictional design study with generated architectural imagery, created to demonstrate the LAGO theme. Dimensions and materials are illustrative.
